Woman In Critical Condition Following Domestic Assault

A 45 year-old Battle Creek woman is in critical condition following an alleged domestic assault.

Battle Creek Police responded to the 100 Block of North Union Street, at 7:30 Sunday morning, to a report of a female that was seriously injured from a domestic related dispute.

A 58 year-old man was arrested on a charge of Assault with Intent and lodged in the Calhoun County Jail.

The victim was transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo and the incident remains under investigation.
