In Michigan, a woman is claiming that she has been crippled due to the cyclosporiasis parasitic infection from Taylor Farms and the Cipro antibiotic treatment doctors used to try to cure it.

Runae Moon has been incredibly vocal about Taylor Farms and the complete devastation that this parasitic infection has caused her. She claims that shortly after becoming infected, she went to the doctors, which is when she was prescribed a form of antibiotics called ciprofloxacin, better known as Cipro, which is a form of fluoroquinolone antibiotic.

She now claims that she has been bedridden in tremendous amount of pain and has lost use of her legs and the ability to walk.

She describes the experience as going through hell and feels that she may be permanently damaged.

She revealed some very personal information about her health and notes from her care team from her primary care physician on her Facebook page, offering proof of what she is currently going through, she says, according to Taylor Farms, and they’re "disgusting, contaminated lettuce they fed to us and never warned us about sooner:"

The main medication they give you for it is Bactrim, which I’m allergic to so they prescribe me Cipro, the only other FDA-approved antibiotic that’s approved for Cyclospora.

She claims she may never recover:

Now I am crippled and bedridden, and they can’t tell me if it’s permanent or not because for some people, it is permanent; for others, they can recover, but it takes months, possibly years. This is the worst pain I have ever been in, and I’m sharing this to bring awareness so that it doesn’t happen to anybody else.
