Get Ready For A Day Of Dumplings In Downtown Grand Rapids
These days, there’s a festival for just about every kind of food, but there is a new festival that has just been announced for Grand Rapids on Saturday, September 20, from 11 AM to 8 PM, that may be the most gluttonous.
Dumpling Fest: Around the World in One Location is making its way to downtown Grand Rapids, celebrating dumplings from many different cultures.

Being a Hungarian myself, and my favorite dish being chicken paprikash with dumplings, this event sounds super dangerous for my waistline.
The event plans to have dumplings from a variety of cultures and countries, and will be a family-friendly event. The event page gives a brief glimpse into what to expect:
Get ready to take your taste a global adventure without leaving Grand Rapids! For one day only, explore dumplings from cultures across the world, all in one location. From savory to sweet, steamed to fried, discover flavors that will make your heart and stomach happy.
Goshen’s Fast-food Castle Brings Mixed Reviews From Visitors
Over the past few years, we’ve seen everything from donut and beer festivals to chicken wing festivals, taco and tequila festivals. I think there’s a festival for just about everything. The only one I haven’t seen is a pizza festival, but I’m sure that’s already in the works.
The event will be taking place at 555 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. From what we can tell, the event is free to attend, and they are looking for volunteers, which you can participate in by signing up here.
Make sure to wear something loose around the waist for this one.
