At first glance, it can appear to be nothing but a harmful ladybug, but the Asian Lady Beetle can quickly be identified separately as it usually has a black M-shaped pattern directly behind its head.

Lady Beatles are usually a quarter of an inch long to 3/16 of an inch wide for adults. They can have up to 19 spots on their back, and they vary in coloring from bright orange to doll yellow or pale orange.

It may feel wrong, but you’ll be glad you take care of any possible infestation, since these pests can multiply quickly and become a serious problem. So how do you get rid of these pests?

Don’t Crush Asian Lady Beetles

Much like a stink bug, the last thing you wanna do to an Asian Lady Beetle is crush them. If you squish them, they will release a bad smell, and they can even stain your walls and furniture.

The best method is to use a vacuum cleaner to suck them up quickly. Another handy trick is to keep your vacuum clean; you could place a knee-high stocking inside the hose, securing it with a rubber band around the outside.

That way, when the Beatles start getting sucked into the vacuum, they collect in the stocking, which you can then tie off and throw away.
